GET INVOLVED

BECOME A MENTOR

How is the project run?

Students and professionals who are native, or fluent English speakers are partnered with youth (school to university level) abroad living in conflict zones or disadvantaged communities. Currently the majority of our students conducting training are based in the UK, but we hope to extend this globally.

Structure of our Project:

  1. Weekly Skype Sessions of minimum 1 hour

  2. One-to-one Scholarship/University Application Training over Skype

  3. Practising English (Spoken and Written)

  4. Exchanging perspectives: learning from each others' experiences

There are two different structures/styles:

  1. Pairing of LSE Undergrads with group of international students

    • Optional one-to-one structure

  2. One-to-one mentoring between masters students and current undergraduates applying for masters
